Photoness → Clean and Pressed like a Supersonic Jet [Part 1]

Yea Im not too sure what that title means, but here's part 1 of my latest photo shoot!

Exterior Shots!! Taken soon after washing the Ram the other day. Did a photo shoot before the sun went down. Edited photos in photoshop cs3 to add some coloring only.

Randomness → New Strip Poll

Heyo. I just put a new poll on the "Store" page. It asks if you would be interested in rockin some Ihazv6powar stuff (Shirts, stickers, etc.).  If enough people vote in favor then ill look at setting something up. I may set something up regardless of the results, but this'll let me know how popular it could be.
Thanks! -Pat.

Photoness → A REALLY foggy night

As mentioned in the previous post, I had said on Titter earlier that i was gonna do 2 posts today. This is the 2nd one.

Gots more photo goodness!

As my Ram did not come with many available options, it lacks a few things like power locks, power windows, fog lights, etc.
So, i decided a few months ago that I wanted to get the OEM fog lights for the Ram to improve its light output and to also fill those nasty holes in the front bumper with the slits.

These fog lights are legit and pure OEM, and come with the shroud to replace the ones in the bumper, wires, switch, lights and the bulbs. I got them from a dealer website here.

My dad and I installed them over a weekend (we took our time) and the night after, I whipped out my fog machine in the driveway and setup a photoshoot. Here are the results!

Modness → Red out

So.... Earlier on Twitter I promised 2 updates today, so ill kick it off with this DIY.

After seeing other people tint their tail lights black (which i find dangerous by the way), i wanted to tint my cargo lights red so that the 3rd brake light and the cargo lights looked all one color.

Here's the ultra cheap and not so permanent method i came up with.

Infoness → My Diary

What's Done.

Well over the past 1 1/2 years i've had my Ram I have done a few modifications.

First there is the Viper Alarm system. It helps keep everything on lock.

Photoness → Shooting up the Parking Lot

So in Ruston Louisiana, where I went to college for one year, there was this small parking lot in the middle of a bunch of trees that was behind a law firm. I noticed at night that it was always empty, well lit, and unlocked.

So one night (im not sure when, but it was kinda cold out), I got a friend to join me for back up, and we went to take photos. Here are the results! (click for large version)
Enjoy!

Infoness → IHAZV6POWAR? What?

Hi!
Ok so there may be a question in your mind. Where the heck did "IHAZV6POWAR" come from? Well, let's see.
-First, "projekt" is project just with a "k".

-We all know that "i haz" is a fancy internet way of saying "i have". It's often used to be silly.

-My Ram has a V6, an mid-sized engine in a full-sized truck.

-Finally, "powar" being a different way of saying "power."

Full-sized trucks with V6's often get joked about because of the fact that it's not the much more powerful and better sounding V8, yet it's still a full-size truck.

So, this blog is a way for me to show what i'm doing with my V6 Ram, regardless of what people may say about the V6; hense its an ongoing project (projekt) that may never be completed.

Often times when people customize cars, there is never a way to finish because there is always something that could be changed. That's the beauty of car customization; everyone's car can be unique yet similar to others at the same time.

Projekt IHAZV6POWAR.

Infoness → History of my Ram

Greetings!! Patrick here. This is a blog following my progress on my beloved Ram. It will showcase a few DIY jobs, aswell as some shop-installed parts.

How I Got My Ram

I love my truck. I have always been into trucks and cars since a little age, and when I was close to being able to drive, I loved seeing other regular cab trucks, especially ones with exhaust mods and suspension mods. I made up my mind that a 2 door truck is what I'd like to have once I could drive.

Well, the time came, when I was 17, for that first vehicle. My dad and I over a few weeks had made a small list of which vehicles to look for at dealerships across Baton Rouge, LA. Ironicly, a Ram was not on that list. Sure I liked them, but at the time all I could think about was getting a regular cab Silverado since that was mostly what I noticed around town.

Driving around we came across a used car lot which specialized in Chrysler and Dodge, but also had Chevy trucks as well. There it was. Parked next to other 4 door Rams, it sat there with that huge chrome grill staring us down.

Well you know the rest. We took it for a drive and both liked it very much. We also got a really good deal on it seeing as it was a slow day for the car lot.

Here are a few photos from the day I got the truck home, which was sometime in August 2008.

As you can see, it still has the dealer plate on it in this photo.

As of now, the truck still remains pretty much stock appearance wise. I have done a few mods to it so far, but i will talk about those in a later post. I have many plans for it also, which I will keep updated as the time goes.
